Hello sunshines!

Can you believe it’s November already?! I swear I was celebrating New Years’ 5 minutes ago and now I’m struggling to get my head around the fact that Christmas is next month! Oh my goodness! However, the start of a new month means I get to do my monthly favourites; my first one on this blog. I’m really excited to be writing my favourites this month because I have been in love with so many different products, so it has been quite hard to narrow them down, but I have tried my best haha! So let’s get into it…

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
This foundation has slowly but surely worked it’s way to be one of my all time favourites. I had seen so much hype about this online so thought I had to try it, and I am so happy I bought into the hype! It’s a medium to full coverage, but it is definitely buildable which I love, as sometimes I do like to differ in what coverage I want. I also find it gives me a really natural finish! It can come off quite dewy depending on what primer I use underneath, but I have tried it without any primer and the finish is more of a satin. I have found that it’s quite easy to give this foundation more of a matte finish quite easily with the use of a mattifying powder or mattifying primer, which is amazing as it can cater to so many different looks. I have been recommending this to so many people; it’s an absolute must have!

Too Faced Born This Way Concealer
The matching concealer to the foundation that I’ve just mentioned and oh my goodness I am in love! I’ve never really been a fan of more high end concealers as I have always loved the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer but this has completely changed my mind! It has medium coverage which, just like the foundation, is completely buildable depending on your needs. It’s unbelievably creamy and blends out like an absolute dream. I love the fact that honestly, you could apply layers and layers of this concealer and it does not get cakey whatsoever! I find it doesn’t crease on me at all once I’ve set it and personally, I find that a lot goes a long way so even though the price point is a bit steep for a concealer it is totally worth it.

Sephora Collection Colorful Face Powders – Blush (Passionate)
I’ve never been the biggest lover of blushes because I’ve always been really paranoid about my rosy cheeks but I have been using this every single day for the past two months or so! I first saw Kylie Jenner talk about this on her Snapchat, and yes I am one of those people! So when my boyfriend went on holiday to America in the summer I asked him to pick this up for me and I’m so happy he got it for me! It is so pigmented so I only need the tiniest amount of product which is great. It’s a beautiful mauvey, muted blush brown shade, with a satin finish. I find that it is really longlasting and gives the most lovely natural and healthy looking glow to my cheeks.

Anasatasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick (Ashton)
I’m fairly new to the world of both ABH as a brand and liquid lipsticks as a product. This is another purhcase that my boyfriend made whilst on holiday for me and I picked this shade because Kathleenlights always raves about it! When I first tried it on I was a bit unsure cause it was a lot darker than shades I usually wear. Although recently it has been my absolute go to! I don’t know whether it’s because we are now in autumn and it is the most fitting shade for this time of year but I am loving it! On me, it shows up as a browny nude shade, with somewhat of an orange undertone. I do find it to be very long wearing and really comfortable to wear. My only negative is that sometimes, depending on what I’ve eaten it does sometimes need reapplying, but I don’t know whether that’s just me being fussy! This has definitely made me want to try out so many more shades of their liquid lipsticks!

Make Up Revolution Blur Primer
This is a much more recent purchase of mine but it has very quickly become one of my favourites! I’ve not used many blurring products before but I’m a really big fan of this. I find it makes my base makeup look so flawless once applied and makes it look so amazing on photographs! Taking the price point into consideration aswell that makes this so much more better for me because it is just so affordable! I wouldn’t use it a primer on its own, I definitely think it has to be applied on top of another as I don’t find it affects the longevity of your makeup whatsoever but the look it gives your base is a must for me so I don’t mind applying it on top of another primer.

Real Technqiues Buffing Brush
I’ve used this brush for about 2 years now, but I keep swaying, trying out new brushes and sponges to apply my foundation but I always seem to come back to this! It is just so so good! I’m pretty sure you can only get this in the Core Collection kit, (but that kit is a love of mine too; you get 4 brushes and it’s super affordable!) When applying my foundation using this brush I find it best to push the product in with it first, and then use buffing motions to really work the product into the skin. I find that using this brush always makes my base looks really flawless and it it is just so easy to work with! A definite must have!

I don’t think I’ll be able to explain properly how hard it was for me to narrow down my favourite products for this month, because trust me I could have gone on and on! However, these few products beat everything else that I’ve been loving.

Have you used any of these products? If so, what do you think of them? If not, what have been your favourite products the past month? Let me know in the comments below!

I’d love to hear from you!

Winter Wish List – Coats & Jackets!

Follow me on bloglovin’ here!

Hello sunshines!

Now we are getting into the much colder months there is nothing I enjoy more than planning my winter wardrobe! So, I thought what better than to start a series in which I share with you my winter wish list! Here I will share with you my top picks for winter clothing, whether you’re struggling to pick your winter coat or favourite pair of boots for this season or you’re just wanting to treat yourself to something special, (because why the hell not?!) So let’s get started…

Inthestyle.com – Kendall Grey Waterfall Wrap Jacket £19.99
inthestyle coat.pngI’ve been a lover of inthestyle for quite a while now and I think their products are so good! They’re super affordable and I cannot knock the quality whatsoever. I’m loving this wrap jacket! Yes, whilst it not be an everyday coat to throw on when you’re walking to the shop, but I think this would be beautiful for more of a special occasion; whether that’s date night or drinks with the girls! The colour is stunning too, a silvery grey with an icy blue undertone to it would be so beautiful paired with black jeans and a strappy pair of heels or chelsea boots.

River Island – Black Faux Fur Shawl Belted Coat £80
river island.pngIsn’t this coat absolutely beautiful! It’s quite a bit more pricey than the previous one but you just cannot fault River Island for coats! I always look on their website or in store during this time of year when I’m looking for my winter coat. As this is more of a jacket as opposed to a coat it will be perfect for those less cold winter days! This jacket would be ideal for a casual outfit for daytime or dressed up heels and over a dress for more of a nighttime look.

Topshop – Urban Hooded Coat £69
topshop coat.pngNow, this isn’t a style of coat that I would usually go for, yet as I was browsing the wonderful world of online shopping I was drawn to this so quickly! I’m obsessed with anything khaki, no matter what time of year it is, so that is a definite plus of this coat! It’s a lot more casual than the previous two coats so it would be ideal to pair with jeans and trainers to go shopping or for lunch with friends. As weather in the UK can be unbelievably unpredictable the hood is an added bonus too!

Boohoo.com – Poppy Mai Festival Bomber £15.00
boohoo jacket.pngFirst things first, can we please just appreciate how affordable this coat is please?! It seems like the bomber jacket trend is showing no signs of slowing down so seemed only fair to include one in this winter wish list! Boohoo.com is a great website for affordable, good quality clothes. I’ve not yet been disappointed by an item I’ve purchased from their website, albeit I haven’t got tons of their clothes but what I do have, I’m pleased with! This bomber jacket comes in a variety of colours which is fabulous! I’m a big lover of this navy colour though, I think it is perfect for this time of year! I can’t imagine that the material would be particularly thick considering the price point, but I’m sure layered on top of a jumper it would be perfect for daytime outings.

Boohoo.com – Nicole Chuck On Coat £40
boohoo coat.pngNow, in my opinion, it’s time for saving the best til last! This is by far my favourite out of all the winter coats and jackets I’ve looked at.I love everything about it; the colour, the style and especially the pockets, (yes I’m one of those girls who is obsessed when an item of clothing has pockets haha!) I just think this coat is visually stunning, and the price point is a dream too! Once again I think that this coat would be perfect for daytime wear, and to put on with jeans and heels for nighttime drinks or a meal. It looks super cosy too which is always a must for an everyday winter coat for me! This is definitely going to be my first winter coat purchase!

I hope you enjoyed reading about my coats and jackets winter wish list!

Favourite Eyeshadow Palette!

Hello sunshines!

Today I thought I’d talk to you about my favourite all time eyeshadow palette. It’s only been recently that I have delved into the world of single eyeshadows, so for me, I think I’ll always prefer a palette over singles. The brilliant thing about palettes for me is you can create so many looks with just one product, and they’re also ridiculously travel friendly! This aspect is perfect for me as I tend to split my time between my house and my boyfriend’s house so being able to just take one palette with me saves me a lot of space in my bag!

Hello sunshines!

I hope you all had an amazing weekend and for those who celebrate Halloween I hope you all had a fabulous time! I for one, had such a great time celebrating Halloween this past weekend. Living in the UK, we obviously do celebrate the holiday but most of the time we don’t really go too over the top, which I always get a little sad about because I absolutely adore Halloween; I always have from when I was a child. I don’t particularly know why, it’s just a holiday that I always really looked forward to.

Birthday Beauty Bay Haul!

Follow me on bloglovin here!

Hello sunshines!

I was sitting at my computer wondering what to write for my first beauty related post, (catch my first actual post here,) and I thought what better to start my blog off than with a haul! It was my 23rd birthday on October 10th and my wonderful boyfriend always tells me how he struggles to get me presents for birthdays and Christmas, despite the fact we’ve been together for over 4 years now, this apparently does not get any easier! So for this year, he suggested that I just placed an order of exactly what I wanted and that would be the best option. Not going to lie to you, I loved this idea! I constantly have a list as long as myself of new beauty products that I want, so being given free reign to order whatever I want was a birthday gift all in itself!
