Favourite Eyeshadow Palette!

Hello sunshines!

Today I thought I’d talk to you about my favourite all time eyeshadow palette. It’s only been recently that I have delved into the world of single eyeshadows, so for me, I think I’ll always prefer a palette over singles. The brilliant thing about palettes for me is you can create so many looks with just one product, and they’re also ridiculously travel friendly! This aspect is perfect for me as I tend to split my time between my house and my boyfriend’s house so being able to just take one palette with me saves me a lot of space in my bag!

I used to be obsessed with both the original Urban Decay Naked palette and the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, but over the past couple of weeks a new palette has stolen my heart; the Morphe 35O. It took me so long to get my hands on this palette and I eventually got it on Beauty Bay during one of their restocks. I got the email whilst slyly checking my phone in the stockroom during one of my shifts at work and placed my order there and then. I had spent months seeing beauty bloggers and vloggers do nothing but rave about this palette and as the owner of a few Morphe palettes already I just knew I had to have it (shop the rest of the Morphe eyeshadow collection here.)The minute it arrived and I opened it, it was love at first sight.

If I’m going to be honest, I’d have to say that I think eyeshadows are my favourite makeup product. However when I first started getting into eyeshadow I was much more into cool tones; silvers, greys, blacks. The occasional gold smokey eye was definitely thrown in every now and again too mind. Over the past 2 months or so I have been obsessed with warm, orange toned makeup looks, especially now that we are getting into autumn. This palette is an absolute warm tone lovers dream! Like every other Morphe palette that I have used, these shadows are unbelievably pigmented and so creamy; an absolute delight to work with. The packaging is the same as the rest of the Morphe palettes, quite plain but I find it pretty sleek. This palette gives you the ability to create both subtle, natural looks and dramatic looks which I love! I literally use this palette almost every day and I can’t see any reason why I will stop using it religiously any time soon.

As you can see from the swatches of these shadows there is a mixture of both mattes and shimmer colours. I find that the pigmentation of the shimmer shades are good just on their own, however sometimes if I’m creating more of a dramatic look I’ll spray a bit of Mac Fix+ onto my brush to make the colour pop more. The mix of both light and dark shades means that the ability to create more natural looks and more dramatic looks is a breeze! You can also create an all matte eye look with this palette which I love because I tend to save the more shimmery shades for a night time look.

You can use this palette to create so many looks! I was inspired by a Kathleenlights tutorial (watch here) to create a more daytime appropriate eye look. She used completely different shadows, but you can create the same look, only slightly warmer using the 35O, by simply building up several matte shades in the crease then the much darker shades in the outer v and a light shade all over the lid. Through on winged liner and you’re good to go!

For a more nighttime appropriate look I always follow a Jaclyn Hill tutorial (watch here.) This is based purely on the Morphe 35O palette which is great! There are so many tutorials online using this palette but this is by far my favourite! The warm crease and highly pigmented copper shade on the lid is the most beautiful look for a special occasion! I always receive so many compliments when I wear this eye look; it’s my absolute fave!

I hope you enjoyed reading all about my all time favourite eyeshadow palette!
